## **A push-to-talk headset with Zello built in**

The OpenComm2 PTT is a lightweight bone conduction headset that connects to your phone over Bluetooth. What makes it different is that Zello is built right into the headset, with a dedicated PTT button on the side. Press it and you're talking to your team on Zello without ever touching your phone. Setup is quick too. NFC tap-to-pair means workers can connect the headset to their phone in seconds, which adds up when you're deploying them across a large team.

## On top of the Zello integration, the OpenComm2 PTT comes with everything that's made Shokz a go-to for frontline teams. Bone conduction audio goes through your cheekbone instead of covering your ears, so you stay aware of what's happening around you. **What is the Shokz OpenComm2 PTT?**   
A lightweight bone conduction headset that Shokz and Zello built together. Zello's protocols are integrated into the headset, and there's a dedicated PTT button on the side that connects you to your team with one press.

**Is the OpenComm2 PTT the same as the regular Shokz OpenComm2?**   
No. They look similar, but the OpenComm2 PTT Zello Edition has a dedicated PTT button and Zello integration that the standard OpenComm2 does not. You need the PTT version for the Zello features to work.

**What makes it different from using a regular Bluetooth headset with Zello?**   
It combines a dedicated PTT button with bone conduction, a boom mic, 16-hour battery, and PPE compatibility in one headset built around Zello.

**What is bone conduction?**   
Bone conduction delivers audio through your cheekbone instead of covering or plugging your ears. You hear your team on Zello while keeping both ears open to your surroundings.

**Is it compatible with PPE?**   
Yes. The OpenComm2 PTT fits under hard hats and works alongside earplugs, face shields, and other protective equipment.

**How long does the battery last?**   
Up to 16 hours of talk time. A 5-minute charge adds about two more hours, and a full charge takes roughly an hour.
